Webzenz built a bilingual registration system for events and listening sessions for Audio Insider Zurich: React, PHP API, MySQL, admin dashboard and Hostpoint hosting.
Overview
Audio Insider is a hi-fi specialist shop in Zurich. For open house events and individual listening sessions, Webzenz developed a bilingual application where customers register or request an appointment.
The system distinguishes between fixed bookings and requests that the team confirms. The frontend is built with React and TypeScript, the backend is a PHP API with MySQL. The solution is designed for Hostpoint shared hosting and runs without a permanent Node server.
Starting point
Event seats are limited and listening sessions depend on opening hours, closures and lead times. Double bookings had to be impossible, even when several people book at the same time. The team also needed to edit texts and emails on its own.

Registration for open house events with direct seat booking.
Availability and capacity
Server-side checks with transactions and row locks so that no overbooking can occur.
Rule-based appointment requests
Requests are checked against opening hours, closures, duration and lead time, consistently in the Europe/Zurich time zone.
Fully bilingual
Interface, emails and admin in German and English, with each language selectable independently.
Admin dashboard
Search, filters, CSV export and change log for all registrations and requests.
Editable texts and emails
The team edits content and email templates directly in the admin.
Reliable email delivery
Automatic emails with an error log and retry. A registration is kept even if SMTP is down.
Spam protection
Honeypot, time tokens, rate limiting, validation, duplicate detection and optional Cloudflare Turnstile.

Result
Audio Insider now manages events and listening sessions in its own system that fits the business. Overbooking is ruled out, emails are not lost and the team maintains content itself.
The project shows that Webzenz delivers robust, secure web applications with a modern interface even on classic shared hosting.
