Webzenz built a websocket service that streams Binance Futures prices in real time, triggers actions and runs on AWS in Tokyo with automatic restarts.
Overview
Live Price Websocket delivers Binance Futures price data in real time and forms the basis for automated trading systems. On defined price events, the service triggers small, targeted functions.
The tokens being watched can be changed dynamically. A dedicated websocket manager keeps connections stable and restores them automatically after interruptions.
Starting point
For trading systems every millisecond counts and every interruption loses data. The service therefore had to run close to the Binance servers and recover on its own when problems occur.
Features and delivery
Real-time streaming
Continuous Binance Futures price data over websockets.
Event-driven functions
Small functions are triggered on defined price events.
Dynamic token tracking
Tokens can be added or removed while the service is running.
Automatic reconnect
The websocket manager detects drops and reconnects.
Self-healing operation
AWS Lambda restarts the instance every three hours and an additional EC2 restart acts as a fallback.
Close to the exchange
Runs in the AWS Tokyo region for low latency to Binance.
