Webzenz developed Piramida.ch, a Swiss classifieds marketplace in German, French, Italian and English with regional search, messaging, Stripe and AWS.
Overview
Piramida.ch is a custom-built classifieds marketplace for Switzerland. Users create listings in German, French, Italian or English, search for offers by region, message sellers directly and can promote listings for a fee.
Webzenz handled the complete delivery, including the servers on AWS. A flexible structure for categories, attributes and fields makes it possible to add new sections without programming.
Starting point
A marketplace for multilingual Switzerland has to handle listings, search and administration in four languages and work regionally by canton and town. At the same time, the platform needed to generate revenue through memberships and packages and be easy to find in search engines.

Automatic listing expiry and notifications through background jobs.

Dynamic metadata, clean language structures, XML sitemaps and robots rules for all listings.

Result
Piramida.ch gives Switzerland an independent, four-language marketplace with regional search, direct communication and clear revenue streams. New categories and fields can be added in the admin without development work.
The project shows how Webzenz delivers large multilingual platforms with frontend, backend, admin, payments and cloud operations from a single source.
